Grandpa’s 84th birthday was coming and now being in UK, I was struggling with ideas to give him a surprise. Photographs.
Grandpa spoke Cantonese. I speak minimal Cantonese. Photographs prove to be another way to communicate and since I’ve been emailing back images from time to time, I don’t really think he has gotten to see any of them yet. I would want to know how my granddaughter was coping with being away 🙂
Printed in 7X5 inches, my housemate kindly translated and wrote captions for me (such a blessing, she is). Posted the next day and am glad he received it a few days later.
