Febrina: I ‘Do’

I met Febrina at a church event for International students two years ago. She has a genuine love for people and you see that so evidently in her. Her silent confidence draws many to want to be around her and we all couldn’t be more glad when Bonnie proposed to her last year. They got married last week. Her hen’s night was lovely- a very elegant night with lots of funny stories shared that evening. Febie, as we call her adores personalized items and for this precious bride-to-be, I made her a simple journal for her to keep with her as she walks down the beautiful journey called marriage.

I found this beautiful A6 notebook from a store and it had a lovely silk cover with a theme of green and gold. Instead of making one from scratch, I could save some time and customize it. I bought a giant (about 5 inches) cardboard letter “I” and sprayed it with gold spray a few layers and left it overnight to dry. The next day, I painted the words with white acrylic and attached some ribbons to the side.
